Hello DB, I also do a blog and appreciate your comments on various tunings. My ear enjoys the Low G and D and I have migrated pretty heavily towards playing the Bari-Uke. I even have been doing a blog of Baritone useful things for the last two years.

My blog, Humble Baritonics, accepts all tunings. I haven't posted much for the banjo though -- but I just posted your GoldTone video there.

As a blogger you will from time to time earn or just obtain the ire of others -- I have had the Ukulele Cosmos mad at me a few times. But they are good people.

I'll be reading more of your blog. I like the HbA name. I did an open mic and played, "Five Pounds of Possum" and have been trying out some flatpicking although I live in the S.F. Bay Area.

It took me a second, but I found the error. Sorry about that and you are right. Totally supposed to be an "E" not an "F". At least it shows up correct on the notation!

Ukuleles are usually tuned GCEA in re-entrant tuning, not a F. I don't know if you can fix that in your post.

I agree with you on the rest though. I own many ukes including a baritone and I enjoy them all whether low G, high G or DGBE.

People often make fun of baritones but if you play them enough you will see they have a certain special something that other ukes lack.
